The IHSA has updated the status of the season and states that they are still planning to play this year if at all possible.  The tentative starting date for practices is now May 1st.  Games would most likely begin a week or so after that.  The season would continue through June, but not into July.  Of course, this is all subject to change at the whimes of the politicians and the course of the Covid spread.
